Thank you for visiting. Let me tell you a little bit about me and my why….

I’m Andie (she / her), the photographer behind Photography by Andie. I’m also Mum to my 2 (mostly) awesome kids, wife to a very supportive husband and stand in Mum for our team of animals which as of right now (and subject to change regularly) includes 1 dog, 2 cats, 3 alpacas, 1 very naughty donkey, 2 guinea pigs, 4 chickens, 14 ducks and 6 sheep! Never a dull moment in my world and I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

I am a hopeless romantic. I am a sucker for animals in need. I love coffee, chocolate and red wine (not necessarily in that order). I love summer, sun flares and being outdoors. I love crazy adventures and traveling to new places. And I love taking photographs!

Life is busy and passes us by so quickly that sometimes we barely have a chance to look up before that moment has gone. Being able to capture the magic and emotion of your beautiful family and tell your story is my why. It is such a privilege and truly makes my heart sing.

I love natural light, golden sun, color, connection and emotion. I love classic black and white photographs. And I love telling a story with pictures. I want to capture the magic that happens when you relax and forget I am there. I want you to walk away from taking photographs with me with a smile on your face, feeling beautiful and feeling excited to see your pictures. And most of all I want you to look back at your treasured photographs and feel all those emotions and many more… remembering a special day, a beautiful love story, a new life, or a life well lived, an intimate look, a gentle touch, laughter, tears and even tantrums…so many precious memories, emotions, connections and milestones, each one unique, each one beautiful and each one telling it’s own special story…forever documented…forever cherished.
